Inside this board is the set of basic rules everyone needs to follow and some things you need to know before you start posting. And remember, before you do anything read all the rules and information!
If you want something done, or have a serious question you need answered, just ask here. If you set up a properly addressed and non-flaming thread, our admins will answer to the issue as soon as possible! But please keep in mind to stay civil.
This is like purgatory, only for threads. It's where all of the finished and inactive ones go. We know how much you treasure them, so rather than deleting them, we move them here.
For those who just have nothing to do. You can pretty much do anything in this board as long as it stays within sanity and the rules; Make an RP post that doesn't meet the site's theme, have intelligent discussions on topics around the world, find new friends, make polls and hobbies, or share secrets about different things - just have fun!
If you're waiting for someone to post they just happen to be taking forever, you can kill a little time playing games here. Enjoy a few rounds of Break a Wish and In My Pants.
After you've finally read the Rules & Information, you can create your character. After you've finished your bio form, just wait and an admin will accept it. But don't worry --- if for some reason, an admin doesn't accept or notify you that it isn't correct within three days, send a PM to one of the other administrators and they'll get right on it. Once accepted, your bio will be moved to the ACCEPTED! board.
Face-claims are also available in one of the threads.
So you've made a character, right? But you just can't find them anyone to be with! Everyone knows people need friends, family, lovers, and all sorts of jazz. There are plenty of other people with just the same problem, and you just need to get their attention. Feel free to post your plot ideas here!
Keeping up with where your character is at all times becomes increasingly difficult as you get more involved with different things. Thus, it is in your best interest to keep track of this. Here, you can make yourself a tracker of any size or shape to follow your character on the many adventures he or she takes.
The station is really the only way you can enter or leave town. Well, that is, unless you want to drive for hours upon hours in uncharted forest. But I suppose there isn't much you can do about it; it's just a rural town, you know. The station itself is quite old fashion, with everything set up just as it used to be in the 20s. Hell, even the train itself is old, with a steam engine and everything. But in a way, it has its own appeal. After sitting down on one of the benches for a while, you'll feel as if you've gone back in time yourself.
An almost completely round center marks the location of the town square which is basically just the first place you come to after you leave the station. On the ground is a red, circular shaped pattern that decorates the bricks with a few light posts settled around it for night time. All sorts of important buildings, such as City Hall, Law Enforcement, and the local candy shop, are conveniently gathered around this one place for any visitors or new townspeople.
The streets of Omni are lined with various shops, monuments, and other notable places. Be careful not to stray too far from the sidewalk, as the backalleys can be quite dangerous at night. Try not to be caught alone.
Certainly one of the less glamourous places in Omni City, it's home to both the Lynkas and the Drakkou. Of course, there are several territorial disputes over the place, so generally the two stick to their main turf. It's not particularly useful for either, but simply the fact that one can say they have more territory than the other is enough. If the name didn't give it away, it is, actually, a pretty dirty and grimy place. Not many aside from the gangs go there--only the occasional garbage man or loner who came to dump off their trash.
These trees are the only thing keeping you and the outer world apart. The problem is, there are so many of them, and the forest stretches for miles from the town's exit. Thus, the only way to leave is by the train, and I'm pretty sure everyone's tired of hearing that. Some of the many adorable animals out here in the woods is a wolf pack, a few grizzlies, and more raccoons than you could ever count. Yeah, it'd be best not to stick around here after dark. There's no telling what could happen.
On top of a tall hill sits the town's church, although no one ever goes anymore. It used to be quite a popular thing, with people coming every Sunday. However, with the times come change. It's abandoned now, as the priest left town a long while back due to unknown reasons.
Even though it is part of the church, the graveyard is placed behind the hill that the building is on top of, safely out of view of the townsfolk. Most of them are happy about the placement, because to be honest, the place is dead creepy. There's nothing that illuminates the cemetery other than a rather old light post that they put up about 30 years ago, but it's rather capricious and only lights up sometimes. And then there's the moss all along the graves, which are broken and cracked, and there are even rumored ghosts there that haunt and wander the area at night. Make sure you bring your flashlight; you never know if you'll need it.
